The launch of Nintendo Wii 2 Rumors

Nintendo just announced yesterday that 30 million Nintendo Wii units have been sold in the United States since its launch. This number makes the fastest selling console in the U.S. about 15 months.

We now hear that the Nintendo Wii 2 will be launched early next year. Nintendo Wii today will give about 5-year time gap between the old and new game consoles. Feature upgrades are expected in the Wii console 2 includes support for Blu-ray and HD support.

It is not clear where that information came from, that is why we tend to believe Geeky Gadgets on to say that Blu-ray may not be included because of cost reasons.
